Hylton Wynick, CIRA, CR.FA is a Partner of the firm and specializes in representing bankruptcy Trustees who oversee both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, primarily in the Southern District of Florida and the Southern District of New York. He also represents debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters as well as State Court Receivers and Assignees.
Mr. Wynick has also assisted the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the recovery of assets and the forensic analysis of the entities being investigated. Additionally, he serves as an Assignee in cases for the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors.
Prior to joining the firm in September of 2014, Mr. Wynick was a Partner at a boutique forensic accounting firm in Boca Raton from September 2008 to August 2014. Hylton was a Principal at Rachlin, LLP from January, 2008 to August, 2008, and a Principal at Barbee & Associates, Inc., from 1995 until 2007. Before joining Barbee & Associates, Inc., he worked for a number of years at an international accounting firm and its successors, in the audit division, in both the Johannesburg, South Africa and Miami, Florida offices. His primary area of concentration in auditing was in manufacturing, retailing and publishing. He also spent several years at an asset based lending bank with primary responsibility for the analysis of financial data regarding lending decisions.
Most recently, Mr. Wynick served from September 2011 to August 2014 as a member of The Florida Bar, Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “C”.
