Hylton Wynick, CIRA, CRFAC is a Partner at Yip Associates and has 27 years of experience and training in forensic accounting and litigation support within the context of bankruptcy. Mr. Wynick specializes in representing bankruptcy Trustees who oversee both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, primarily in the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Wynick also represents debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters as well as State Court Receivers and Assignees. Mr. Wynick has also assisted the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the recovery of assets and the forensic analysis of the entities being investigated. Additionally, Mr. Wynick serves as an Assignee in cases for the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors.
Of note, Mr. Wynick has worked on the bankruptcy cases of Solar Financial Services, Inc., NAL Financial Corp., VoIP, Inc. and MRU Holdings, Inc., all public companies. Mr. Wynick also worked on a high profile case for a Trustee in the Southern District of New York involving a cast member on the Housewives of New York show.
Prior to joining Yip Associates, Mr. Wynick was a Partner at a boutique forensic accounting firm in Boca Raton, a Principal at Rachlin, LLP, and a Principal at Barbee & Associates, Inc. Prior to joining Barbee & Associates, Inc., Mr. Wynick worked for a number of years at an international accounting firm and its successors in the audit division in both the Johannesburg, South Africa and Miami, Florida offices. Mr. Wynick’ s primary area of concentration in auditing was in manufacturing, retailing and publishing. He also spent several years at an asset-based lending bank with responsibility for the analysis of financial data regarding lending decisions.
