Kerry-Ann Rin, CPA, CIRA is a Partner at Yip Associates and has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, including forensic accounting, litigation support, and bankruptcy consulting. She has worked on various internal investigations for private companies, shareholder and partnership disputes, financial investigations and tracing of funds. Ms. Rin has provided services to government agencies, including the Office of the Federal Public Defender and the New York Office of the Attorney General, in various matters. Ms. Rin has managed and worked on integrity monitoring and other government sector advisory engagements including performing completeness evaluations of Procedure Manuals under the direction of the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery.
Ms. Rin has served as Accountant to Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees in the Southern District of Florida, Financial Advisor to Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Trustees in the Southern District of Florida, and as Financial Advisor to Chapter 11 Debtor-in-Possession. She has experience overseeing operations during the pendency of Chapter 11 proceedings and has advised individual and corporate debtors throughout the Chapter 11 reorganization process.
Ms. Rin is a native of Miami and graduated from the University of Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Marketing, and a Master of Professional Accounting. Prior to joining Yip Associates, Ms. Rin gained valuable experience working in New York for a firm specializing in forensic accounting, litigation support, audit, and tax matters.
